Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin, an immunomodulatory fragment of immunoglobulin G, with the same proline-glycine-proline stabilising tail used in semax. Supplied as a 10 mg lyophilised vial.
The tuftsin origin is what distinguishes it: research attention centres on anxiolytic properties and GABAergic signalling rather than the BDNF and cholinergic pathways associated with semax, despite the two peptides sharing a design approach and often being discussed together. Supplied lyophilised per vial.
Store sealed at -20 C, reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate the working solution and keep it away from light. Related neuro-research peptides in stock: semax, DSIP, cerebrolysin.
