Every product on this site is sold for in vitro laboratory research only. This page explains what that means and what you agree to when you place an order.

What these products are not

They are not medicines, medical devices, supplements, food, feed or cosmetics. They are not meant for human or animal consumption, injection, application, diagnosis or treatment. No authority such as the EMA, the MHRA or the FDA has evaluated them, and we make no claim about their safety or effectiveness.

What you confirm when you order

• You are of legal age in the country where you live.
• You are buying this material for laboratory research, not for use in a person or an animal.
• You have the knowledge and facilities to handle, store and dispose of research chemicals safely.
• You have checked that you are allowed to buy, import and hold these materials where you live.

Handling and disposal

Treat every vial as a laboratory chemical. Keep it away from food and out of reach of children and animals, and store it as described on the product page. Dispose of unused material and sharps through the proper waste route for your setting. Do not put them in household waste or down the drain.

What this label does and does not do

We are direct about this because it matters. The research-use-only label describes the terms on which we supply the material. It does not change the legal status of any compound in your country, and it does not give you a licence or permission. If a substance is controlled where you live, it stays controlled no matter what the label says.

We may decline an order

We will refuse or cancel any order if we believe the material will be used in a person or an animal, if the destination country prohibits it, or if the request suggests the material is not going to a research setting. If we cancel your order, you get a full refund.
