NAD+ is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme present in every living cell and central to the redox reactions that move electrons through metabolism. Available in 100 mg, 500 mg and 1000 mg lyophilised vials.
It is not a peptide, and it behaves differently from the rest of this catalogue: it is consumed as a substrate by sirtuins and PARP enzymes rather than binding a receptor, which is why cellular concentrations fall under conditions of DNA-repair demand. That consumption relationship is the basis of most current research interest.
Supplied lyophilised per vial. It is more hygroscopic and more light-sensitive than the peptides here, so keep the vial sealed at -20 C until the moment of use, reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, and store the working solution cold and dark.
Related metabolic-research compounds include glutathione and MOTS-c. Purity data on our lab reports page.
